વલસાડ જિલ્લાના કપરાડામાં 4 ઇંચ, ધરમપુરમાં 2 ઇંચ તથા સાપુતારામાં 7 કલાકમાં 5 ઇંચ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો છે
અમદાવાદ: 10 દિવસ બાદ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં ચોમાસાનો બીજો રાઉન્ડ શરૂ થયો છે. વરસાદની સિસ્ટમ સક્રિય બનતા અમદાવાદ સહિત મધ્ય ગુજરાત ઉત્તર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છના વિસ્તારોમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડશે. સાપુતારા મોન્સૂન ફેસ્ટિવલ શરૂ થતાની સાથે વલસાડ જિલ્લાના કપરાડામાં 4 ઇંચ, ધરમપુરમાં 2 ઇંચ તથા સાપુતારામાં 7 કલાકમાં 5 ઇંચ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો છે. દરમિયાનમાં આગામી 48 કલાકમાં બંગાળની ખાડીમાં લો-પ્રેશર સક્રિય થવાની શક્યતા છે.

આ સાથે હાલમાં ઉત્તરપ્રદેશ, પંજાબ, મધ્ય-પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ, ઓરિસ્સા, ઉત્તરીય આંધ્રપ્રદેશ, બિહારના પશ્ચિમ તેમ જ ગુજરાત પર અપર એર સાઇક્લોનિક સરક્યુલેશન સક્રિય થયું છે, જેને કારણે 8મી ઓગસ્ટથી ગુજરાત સહિત દેશના પશ્ચિમી રાજ્યોમાં ચોમાસું ફરી સક્રિય થવાના સંકેતો હવામાન વિભાગે આપ્યા છે.
ગુજરાત સહિત અન્ય રાજ્યોમાં ફરીથી વરસાદ
હાલ દેશના મોટા ભાગના વિસ્તારોમાં વરસાદ ખેંચાયો છે, પરંતુ આગામી 48 કલાકમાં બંગાળની ખાડીમાં લૉ-પ્રેસર સક્રિય થશે, જેથી 24 કલાકમાં દેશના વિવિધ વિસ્તારોમાં મધ્યમથી ભારે વરસાદ પડી શકે છે. જ્યારે ગુજરાત સહિત પશ્ચિમનાં અન્ય રાજ્યોમાં 8 ઓગસ્ટથી ફરીથી ચોમાસું સક્રિય થવાની પ્રબળ શક્યતા છે.
